  • New charges have been filed against Malik Davis, the man accused of killing Daisy Lynn Landry. Yesterday, a grand jury indicted him on one count of Obstruction of Justice, for allegedly tampering with evidence.

  • A man in jail for a murder in Baton Rouge was mistakenly set free on Friday. Michael Vallery was arrested on Tuesday in Abbeville.

  • Lawmakers are considering whether to offer confidentiality to anyone who helps facilitate an execution in Louisiana, a measure edging forward in the house.

  • The 24th annual LEDA Job Fair happens today at the Cajundome Convention Center from 9 am to 2 pm. Job seekers should dress professionally & bring copies of their resumes.’

  • The 68th annual National Day of Prayer is happening across the country today.
