  • The owner of Cajun Cannabis spoke out after being released from jail Monday evening, saying once he consults with local law enforcement, he will re-open his store within the next week, but will not sell CBD lotions or oils at this time.
  • Breaux Bridge police needs the public’s help identifying the vehicles of the people suspected of stealing toilet paper from an 18 wheeler involved in Monday’s deadly crash on I-10.

  • Former priest Michael Guidry was sentenced to 10 years hard labor, including three years probation for molesting a 16 year old in 2015. He must also register as a sex offender.

  • A Carencro man has been arrested in connection with a March shooting in Lafayette. Brandon Savoy has been charged with attempted second-degree murder.
  • Two Lafayette parish schools ranked in the top 20 in the state. Lafayette high ranks number 1 in the parish and 14th in the state. David Thibodaux STEM academy ranked 2 in the parish and 20th in the state.
