KROTZ SPRINGS, La. (KLFY)– Undercover agents with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office arrest four in an alleged drug ring in the Krotz Springs area.

Authorities tell KLFY that on May 18, 2016, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Deputies arrested four residents on warrants after a series of undercover buys involving the distribution of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and suboxone.

Agents say, they received information that a small drug ring was being operated in the Krotz Springs area.

Authorities responded to the information by sending undercover agents in an attempt to make illegal narcotic purchases.

Several purchases from the ring were made for methamphetamine, suboxone, and marijuana according to a spokesperson with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
