Acadiana Food Ways is moving into classroom.
We met with Kirby Jambon, a French Immersion teacher, during a professional development event at Vermilionville.
The focus of that meeting is Acadiana Food Ways.
Jambon plans on using Food Ways in his classroom this year.
“It think it really helps to develop the child in many ways,” Jambon said.
Same goes for Yvette Tyler.
She’ll be using Food Ways in her two classes, English Language Arts and Social Studies.
Food Ways in the classrooms is a strategy that both teachers say they feel will be an effective and engaging tool for students.
