A crash involving a pedestrian has shut down Interstate 10 northbound at I-49.
Lafayette Police say a pedestrian was struck near the Pont de Mouton Road exit around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where the condition is unknown at this time.
No information was given on the driver of the vehicle or their condition.
Police say they expect the roadway to re-open soon.
