IF NOT NOW, WHEN? WHEN? WHEN?

WHAT MOTIVATED ME WAS SEEING A PHOTO AFTER A 5AM SPIN CLASS. THEY POSTED ON THE CAJUN FITNESS WEBSITE . GOT A PHONE CALL FROM A FRIEND, LIKE WOW, I THOUGHT YOU WERE WORKING OUT. I NOTICTED I GAINED A LOT OF WEIGHT.

 

I STARTED A BUSINESS ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO AND THERE WAS A CUSTOMER THAT I HADNT SEEN IN A WHILE AND SHE DIDN’T RECOGNIZE ME BECAUSE I HAD PUT ON SO MUCH WEIGHT. SO IT WAS AN EYE OPENER THAT SOMETHING NEEDED TO BE DONE

 

THE BIGGEST THING FOR ME WAS JUST HAVING A 5 MONTH OLD AT HOME JUST HAVING TO CHANGE IT UP, KEPT PUTTING ON WEIGHT AND IT WAS JUST TIME TO START.

 

THE BIGGEST CHANGE IN MY WEIGHT LOSS  JOURNEY WAS THE NUTRITION SIDE OF IT. MY WIFE MADE CHARTS. WE MEAL PLANNED. SHE ALWAYS TOLD ME YOU CAN’T OUT-WORK A BAD DIET.

 

STARTED WORKOING OUT EVERY DAY, SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY. STARTED EATING RIGHT, EATING A LOT OF VEGETABLES AND MEAT. CUTTING OUT BEER, SWEETS AND ICE CREAM.

 

INSTEAD OF OPENING A BEER, GETTING ON THE TREADMILL, PUTTING IN AN HOUR’S WORTH OF WORK. JUST CHANGING THE ROUTINE EVERY DAY INSTEAD OF THE SAME ROUTINE THAT WASNT GETTING ANY DIFFERENT RESULTS. NUTRITION WIDE, JUST NOT EATING RICE AND GRAVY EVERY AFTERNOON, PIKING UP  A CHICKEN BREAST INSTEAD OF THE RICE. LITTLE DIFFERENCES HERE AND THERE  JUST MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE OVERALL.

 

DURING THE EIGHT-WEEK, WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE, I LOST 27% OF MY BODY WEIGHT. I WEIGHED IN AT 199 POUNDS, AT THE FINAL WEIGHT IN, I WAS AT 145 POUNDS.

 

MY FIRST WEIGH-IN WAS 337 POUNDS, I FINISHED AT 256 POUNDS, I LOST A TOTAL OF 81 POUNDS. 24% BODY WEIGHT.

 

I STARTED OUT WEIGHING AT 255 POUNDS. I LOST ROUGHLY 54 POUNDS. I WAS ALMOST AT 200.

 

YOU NEED TO DO THE EXERCISE PART AND THE NUTRITION SIDE. IT’S A COMBINATION OF BOTH. YOU DO NEED A PLAN. AND TO TRACK YOUR RESULTS.

 

IT’S HARD TO GET STARTED BUT ONCE YOU GET STARTED, IT’S REALLY NOT THAT HARD . I MEAN YOU START SEEING RESULTS. POUNDS START COMING OFF , THEN YOU GET MORE AND MORE MOTIVATED AND YOU WANT TO CONTINUE ON AND FROM THERE JUST KEEP GOING.

 

THAT’S THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE WHENEVER IT COMES TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE – WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO START DOING IT? I MEAN THERE’S NO BETTER TIME THAN NOW.
