Saharron Martin-Senegal is an awesome CNA at Our Lady of Lourdes and is a very hard worker. She’s also in school at LSUE to become an RN. E.R., Dr. Eric Guilbeau has worked non-stop during the COVID-19 crisis. Dr. Guilbeau has taken his time with patients and understands the need of each patient that is seen through the Emergency Room. Dr. Eric Guilbeau has three girls all in school and one of his girls is a graduating senior at Teurlings High School. He’s been nominated for nurse of the year twice and there is nothing bad to say about his attitude or nursing skills. He has been dedicated to his job for a very long time and still is to this day. He is his family’s hero and a hero to so many more! I would like to nominate Francine Wilson as a frontline hero. She works at New Iberia Manor North. She goes above and beyond to help when need. I would like to nominate Donna Livings as a front line responder at LARC. She unselfishly goes to work each and every day despite her own immune system being comprised. She loves all her clients and is determined to be there for them. She works at Camelot Rehabilitation at Magnolia Park/Magnolia Estates Nursing Home in Lafayette since February of last year. She works hard, patient, and friendly. His name is Wallace navarre He works for Instacart Larrell Demetrius Greene is a young man of God who diligently transports patients to and from their appointments on a daily basis as well as feeding and teaching the word of God. Demetrius is employed at Secure Patient Delivery for 10 years and a Deacon at New life Tabernacle in Opelousas for 5 years. Mentoring over 20 plus years. Just a hardworking Man of God with 5 college kids, tying to survive?? Keep up the good work and thanks for all you do. Lyndsie Brewer from Lafayette Working ICU at Iberia Medical Center Oswald Whitlock is a certified CNA who is originally from Monroe, La. He is employed @ Pace & loves working with the elderly I’d like to recognize my son, Mike Baum. He works for Acadian Ambulance. He is on the frontline everyday. Transporting people and saving lives. I’m so proud of him and his dedication to helping others My wife Misty Daigle is a LPN @ Our Lady of Lourdes. She had been there 11yrs & has been a nurse for over 20yrs. She has been directly caring for Covid 19 patients since this began. She works tirelessly in any and every way possible to help her community. Trinette Thomas is from Ville Platte but is a Registered nurse at Fresenius dialysis center in Alexandria. She has been working as a nurse for 20 years. She recently returned to college to advance her career in nursing. When not caring for others she loves reading, writing and traveling! She’s a Nurse AHS walk in clinic on Ambassador, Blessings to all frontline workers from the Babineaux family My mom (Tina Veals)is a certified nursing assistant who is currently working on the front lines of COVID 19 in New Iberia La. she is a very hard worker and loves to take care of the elderly as she is employed in the nursing home, she was recently told that she had to quit her second job which was another nursing home because of the risk that she could come in contact with COVID 19 and possibly carry it to another faculty. She was heartbroken to leave her job and her residents she cares so much about but she knew that she had to be safe and take care of herself first. She’s always worked two jobs to take care of 5 children and has gotten two of her daughters finished with nursing school. One is an RN and another an LPN(myself). I am very proud of her and she is very strong. Our daughter Lakeysha Day, an RN employed by Lafayette General volunteered to work in New Orleans at the Morial Convention Center. We’re proud of her helping others for over fifteen years as a Nurse I want to nominate my sister Robin Jackson Sassau! She is a pharmacy tech at OGH with over 15 years of experience. She risk your health daily to ensure patients stay healthy and have their medication needs met. I would like to nominate Brian Keith Breaux as my frontline hero he is an RN in ICU @ OGH he has put his life on the line to care for all his patients, he has recovered from the virus and went back to work on the frontlines to continue to help others. I would like to nominate Amy Landry as a Frontline Hero. Amy is a CNA and Transportation Worker at Southwind Nursing and Rehab Center in Crowley. When most of us are sheltering at home, she is transporting patients to hospitals and doctor appointment daily. I would like to nominate Kelsey. She is a respatory Therapist for Lafayette General. She is very dedicated to making a difference in everyone’s life at work and her personal life. She is always willing to help out everywhere. She has gotten numerous letters praising the job she has done. She is New Ibetia Catholic High School Graduate in 2012 and Graduated from LSUE. If you know Kelsey you will never forget her. She is a true Angel in the NiCU unit. Alina Zoulin is a Nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette Louisiana Her name is Sandra Robertson Dillard she works as a respiratory therapist at LGMC in Lafayette. Sandra is a very hard worker very compassionate and always wants to make the patient feel like they are her family My sister-in-law is an EMS and has been in Florida for 2 weeks on a base treating and caring for people with covid-19 first hand. Pastor Calvin Moore from Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA who delivers food and baskets of household necessities back to the community. Her name is Kaitlyn Breaux she is a RN and very giving person . Pamela Stover and her laboratory team at St. Martin Hospital have been working relentlessly 24/7 to process lab tests for their inpatients and satellite clinics in order to assist the physicians to receive their patients results and treat them in a timely manner. He is the Owner/Pharmacist for Park Pharmacy at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Lafayette. He and his staff have been running their pharmacy through the drive-through in order to help keep social distancing, while still being able to help all in need through this time. While closed after hours one day during Coronavirus, I had called the pharmacy 3 times hoping maybe someone just wasn’t able to get to the phone. I had a really bad reaction to medicine and had been sent a prescription to clear up the hives that were incredibly painful. Shane was doing inventory and noticed I had called back to back and answered. Despite being closed and being very busy, he told me to come by and personally came out to my car to give me a partial fill to get me through until they reopened. That is just one of the reasons I consider Shane, his wife Christi, and all the staff at Park Pharmacy family. It’s people like Shane that will see us through this pandemic—heartfelt and constant—he is a true frontline hero. and I would like to nominate my sister Morassia J Feast as an frontline hero. She is a nurse at Belle Teche Nursing Home and has been for 10 years she is an excellent nurse and always goes above and beyond for her patients. She has had many positions throughout the years a floor nurse , case mangement & now as the marketing director. Since she can’t go market because of COVID-19 she has been going above and beyond by helping picking up shifts , working overtime when the facility is short staffed . This is Tabatha Edmond RN. This is Kevin Stewart, a Patterson police officer, he has been a officer for over twenty years , in those years,he served in Jeanerette and Patterson. He was awarded Top Cop about twelve times where he removed several drunk drivers from the roads. He now serve as a supervisor for Patterson. This is my daughter in law Erica. She is currently working as a CNA. She is on the front line everyday, making sure that she can put a positive impression on someone who made need it she enjoys what she does and would not change her career path for nothing. Her passion is to always give back to her community and her elderly she is such a great person at heart. This is our daughter Taylor Brianna Donato Brown She is a nurse at Opelousas General Hospital. McKenzie Davis from Erath, LA is an EMT with Acadian Ambulance. Kenzie is a hard worker and very compassionate. I would like to nominate Mrs. Andre Bertrand-Duhon of Abbeville, La. who works for Dr. James C. Dobbs at the Cardiology Specialists of Acadiana, LLC. Andre has over 19 years of experience in the medical community and has worked tirelessly on the frontlines with Dr. Dobbs, continuing to see patients, since the COVID-19 crisis has begun. She is married to Rene Duhon and has two children – a daughter Mackenzie, who is a senior at Kaplan HS and a son Lane, who is a 6th grade student at Rene Rost. I would like to nominate Trent Boudreaux as a frontline hero Trent works for Acadian Ambulance as a Paramedic. He is a hero in our eyes he works so hard day in and day out fighting through this hard time to provide for our family. Lynette Boudreaux of New Orleans and best friend Brittany Demarcay of Abbeville are both frontline at Oschner Hospital, Westbank. Lynette is a supervisor in the ICU unit and Brittany is a respiratory therapist both working first hand with the corona patients. They take on extra shifts when needed and has been working just about daily. They both try their best help patients stay in contact with family members. Her name is Kramer McDaniel a mental health professional. Shes currently working from home due to COVID-19. She has a really big heart and always trying to help others. I believe shes well worthy of a nomination Norman Baudoin is from Abbeville and has worked at Lourdes Hospital for 14 years. Brian Seth Mouton. He’s a pillar to the community. Coach of 6th Man basketball association. President of the A&O 21st Century Club very active in his community with the youth and elderly. Today he took money out of his own pocket to serve the community BBQ plate lunches. I would like to nominate my sister Marcretia Carriere. She is a nurse at Basile Prison! I have watched her get up at 4:00am every morning to go to work without a complaint! If her job needs her she’s always! She’s so outgoing and hardworking! Tyler T. Green has been employed in Law Enforcement since he was 18 years old. He started off working at the St. Mary Parish Jail. Now he is 22 years old and has a 2 year old son. He works every day on the front line in Lafayette, La as a police officer. He truly loves his job and embodies the phrase “protect and serve”. My amazing Mom is in the Frontlines & deserves to be recognized. Her name is Jenny & works @ Lowes. She is there w a smile on her face, a helping hand, all while remaining positive & professional. Her name is Naomi Guillory she does agency nursing- most of the time at the nursing home in Arnaudville. Her infectious smile and positive attitude is what makes all of her residents/patients love her and brighten their days! She is also a Multiple Sclerosis warrior who beat Covid19! She is amazing! Syvina S. Demouchet, is a LPN for 18 yrs. The love and passion she has for caring for the elderly is unimaginable. She is employed by Platinum Health Care staffing, She travels to different Nursing Homes in the area taking care of Covid-19 patients.. 3 brothers Rick (Shoo)Brown works as a St Landry Parish Sheriff’s Deputy and 2 of his brothers Chaise Brown and Ben Brown both Firefighters at Eunice Fire Dept. They are 3 of 5 brothers from Eunice. Tadj Khosropour, Registered Nurse, works at Iberia Medical Center in Med-Surge, Post-Op and the Intensive Care Unit. Her “little” brother, Matthew Khosropour, a Family Nurse Practitioner at SouthStar Urgent Care administers to emergency needs as well as screening and testing COVID19 patients. Bethaney LaCoste Mary Hayes, RN Charge Nurse at Acadia St Landry Hospital Loving wife and mother of two and grandmother to four beautiful grandkids. One of the most compassionate and caring nurse you will come across. 20 years in the nursing field and absolutely loves what she does. She is adored by her patients and respected by her coworkers. She starts everyday off with a smile and prayer, something the world needs right now. This is my best friend Katie Breaux Lail. She has 5 children but still has the biggest heart to fit love in for all of her patients. It is a very difficult time for nurses these days w caring for patients that are all alone w no family members by their side in the hospitals. Katie makes time to be there for them. She receives many compliments on how caring she is from her patients and is loved by them all. In the 6th grade we had to write a paper for English class on a partner and what they wanted to be when they were older. Katie has always said she wanted to be a nurse. I’ll have to try and find that paper in my box in the attic. This Betty Landry she has been working the frontline since the start of the pandemic working at 2 different nursing homes giving her all while still taking care of her elderly mother she loves and respects her patients and they love her back I would like to Nominate Consuella Adams for Frontline Hero. She was a CNA, Lpn & now she’s living her dream as a RN. She has worked at Our Lady of Lourdes for a long time. Nursing is truly her passion!! We are blessed to have a Mayor with such fierce passion for the protection of her citizens! We just want to say thank you for all that you do! I’ve been a nurse for 22 years. I’ve worked at several doctor’s offices, but have been an Home Health nurse my whole career. Nurses are some of the most incredible caring people that I know. I love nurses and love helping other nurses. It is very fulfilling to be able to help and encourage people everyday. I would like to honor my son Jeremy Milson as a frontline hero. Jeremy drives 18 wheelers for Sun Coast and has been in New York City since March. Jeremy flues the generators for the pop up tents and refrigerator trailers around the hospitals. I pray God covers him and everyone on frontline with his blood. His daughter 11yrs old Kassidi Milson miss and love him so much and wanted to make sure we Honor her dad. Pastor Calvin J. Moore Hello Everyone, this lovely young lady is Allexus SinClair Guidry- LPN. She is an inspiration and a nurse at Lafayette General Hospital. She is our hero and loved by her co- workers and her patients. Allexus has a love for serving others and a bubbly personality. Her patients love talking with her and telling her stories of their lives. My Neice Kaneisha Tanner is my hero in many ways, She’s a single mom to two small children. She may not be a Health worker physically saving lives, but her job as a Cashier brings her into the front line of assisting the public with making sure their families have the essentials they may need on a daily. I believe they are heroes because they are part of a nonprofit organization Opelousas Elderly Awareness Seminar which provides information and resources to elderly in the St. Landry Parish community. Since the Coronavirus outbreak, these two have been volunteering their time and effort along with Opelousas City Marshal Paul Mouton and various vendors to provide dinners, face masks and sanitary items, as well food boxes in the parish to our elderly. We thank Opelousas Elderly Awareness and their vendors with this effort. We appreciate our neighbor Hero! Melanie Fitzmorris. Marcella Guillory (pictured below) works as a nurse in Maryland in a COVID-19 unit. Laura Tanner has been an EMT for 20yrs. She works for ST Landry EMS in Opelousas . She has been on frontline since start of Covid-19 transporting Covid -19 positive patients and those calling with symptoms to the hospital . Although being exposed daily she continue to show up to work . Laura loves helping others .
