Julie Darce anchors Passe Partout. She is a native of Baldwin, La. She graduated from Franklin Senior High School and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Mass Communications.
Julie began her career in broadcasting at the tender age of 16, working as a part time disc jockey at KFMV radio in Franklin, La. She spent many years working in radio as a disc jockey and morning show host in the Houma/New Orleans market.
Julie began working at KLFY in 1999. In her time at KLFY, she has also served as Assistant to the business manager, National Sales Assistant, Account Executive and Sales Coordinator. Julie has also been the leading female voice in many of KLFY's commercials and promotions and volunteers serving as a co-host for The Jerry Lewis Telethon.
When not working, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband John Mire, Jr. and their children, Emily and Jed. She also enjoys working out and practicing yoga. Having been born and raised in South Louisiana, she is proud to call Acadiana her home.
