The Lafayette Charter Foundation has approved a fifteen million dollar budget for two Lafayette Parish Charter schools set to open in two weeks.

Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy and Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy will each have around seven-and-a-half million dollars to operate on for the upcoming school year.

Each school will allocate around three-million dollars to teacher and staff salaries and benefits.  The rest will go towards operating costs with a large amount going toward the costs of new technology such as computers and high-speed internet.
