On Saturday, July 19th residents will self-serve until 12:00 p.m. Sand bags available to the public, but members of the public will bag the sand themselves. Residents are asked to take no more than 6 bags per household if possible. LAFAYETTE AND YOUNGSVILLE
Lafayette Consolidated Government has announced that sandbags will be available throughout the morning in anticipation of heavy rain. Officials say the two locations are self serve and you must bring your own shovel. Officials will provide the sand and bags. You'll have to bag the sand yourself.
130 Shantel Road in Lafayette and 1017 Fortune Road in Youngsville. Both locations will remain open throughout the day.NEW IBERIA
Due to the weather forecast the City of New Iberia will have sand bags available to the public from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. today.The filled bags will be handed out at 907 Fulton Street.For ease of access and to aid in traffic flow, the City asks that residents approach the facility from the North Street side.
Citizens are urged to stay off the roadway due to flooding conditions.
City offices will close today at 11:00 a.m. due to inclement weather.

ST. LANDRY PARISH
Sandbags are now available for St. Landry Parish residents until 6:00pm today, Friday, July 18th.
Pick-up Location: Yambilee Building, 1939 W Landry St., Opelousas.
Limit: 10 sandbags per resident

SANDBAGS AVAILABLE TODAY AT RUTH BRIDGE BARN AND THE SOUTH BARN IN ST. MARTIN PARISH
(St. Martinville, La.)- Due to the large amount of rain moving through upper St. Martin Parish, sand bags will be available until approximately 3:30 this afternoon at the following two locations:

Breaux Bridge, LA.
1011 Capritto Forty Arpent
St. Martinville, LA.
Residents should be prepared to fill their own sandbags. We are encouraging people to please stay off of the roadways. Conditions can change from minute to minute due to the amount of rainfall that accumulates on the road so please exercise caution and never try to drive or walk through standing water.
