"Miracle Dog" Saint Looking For A Forever Home

Posted: Updated:
This is Saint, a 3 year old Pit Bull who is looking for his forever home!   He was rescued during the hard freeze back in January, after he was abandoned and left on a chain in the freezing weather with no food, water or shelter.  He is being cared for by Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue, but his foster mom, Kirsten, is located here in Acadiana in the Lafayette/Sunset area.

When Saint was rescued, he was actually on his death bed, weighing in the 20 pound range, heartworm positive, suffering from congestive heart failure, dehydrated and was literally being starved nearly to death.   Now, after 7 months of treatments, he is heartworm negative, neutered, completely healthy,  and up to date on all shots and FINALLY ready for his forever home. He has a sweet, loving temperament and loves people.  He has fought a really hard battle and deserves a forever home!  Even the vets did not think he would survive but he fought so hard and here we are today!

If anyone would be interested in adoption they can email LCPBR Adoption Coordinator Megan at  Meganlcpbr@yahoo.com or message the Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue FB page. Please consider helping Saint to find a loving home!
