Train accident claims life of Lebeau man

A tragic train accident in Lebeau took the life of 49 year old Micheal Tanner of Lebeau.

Authorities say a manwas walking south on the train tracks while a train was heading south as well.

The train tried everything to avoid Tanner by blowing the horn and attempting to slow down, but Tanner was deaf.

The train hit Tanner and he then flew thirty feet in the air.
