The University of Louisiana at Lafayette awarded degrees to 1615 students on Saturday.
It's the largest graduating class in the history of UL. The former governor of Louisiana, Kathleen Blanco, made an appearance at the Cajundome. She says it's a proud moment for all the families involved.
And Charles Tillman, a 2002 UL Lafayette graduate was the keynote speaker. Tillman is a also a former cornerback for the Chicago Bears.
