UPDATE: Warrants Issued for Suspects Involved in Purse Snatching

Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department have issued arrest warrants for three suspects alleged to have participated in an April 29th purse snatching.

Warrants for Purse Snatching have been issued for the arrest of Memphis Matthews (27) and Douglas Ledet (24), both of Breaux Bridge. A warrant for Principal to Purse Snatching has also been issued for Quincy Alexander (28) of St. Martinville. Alexander is alleged to have aided Matthews and Ledet in leaving the scene.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects is encouraged to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
