Gary: Today on your Lawn & Garden we’re talking about transplanting.Transplanting what? Well John says there are a lot of things in your yard or in your garden you may want to move around. So what are we doing her John?
JOHN:Well, this is a flower plant right her but it can be vegetables, any tree or shrub you have. And it’s important to use a root stimulator like what I have right here. What it does is it gets the roots growing, not the top.You don’t want to push the top. You want to get those roots growing before the top starts taking up fertilizer.
Also when a plant is under stress you want to use an insecticide. There’s this drench right here. Because, under stress plants, insects are gonna go to the weaker plant before the strong plant. So you want to put that down.
I also put some sod down and I used the root stimulator to get the roots growing and I’ve had great luck.
Also right now, everyone is complaining about the wood bees. They’re flying all over the place, they’re eating wood and everything. This product here is called Demon, or I have a liquid product called Viper. They’re both the same product, one is an oil base, this is water based, so this could be used in or outside. You want to kill them first with this. You mix two packs in a gallon of water, there are two packs in here. Not too expensive, like eleven ninety nine. And then you want to come back two days later with this product right here, Tim-bor. You don’t have to use it but what it does is make the Demon last a lot longer. So they’re not gonna be coming back right away.
