Police Investigate Several Vehicles With Slashed Tires

Rayne Chief of Police Carroll Stelly announced that his department is investigating several cases of  criminal damage to property where the tires of 14 vehicles were cut during Monday night. Officers responded to the area of 10th Street and West South 1st were they discovered that tires were cut on 14 separate vehicles with some vehicles having up to all four tires cut. 

Detectives have identified a possible suspect but are asking the public if they saw or heard any suspicious activity, to call Crimestoppers of Acadia Parish, 789-TIPS  789-(8477) or Rayne PD at 334-4215. Tipsters can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information about this crime or any other crime and will remain anonymous.
