L. J. Alleman students compete in national competition

Updated:
Some talented students in the L. J. Alleman Middle School choir recently competed in a national competition and they stomped the competition.

The mixed choir which consisted of eight girls and five boys competed in a championship competition in San Antonio, Texas against some pretty stiff competitors, but that didn't faze them because they brought home the gold.

The group is under the leadership of choir director Victoria Landry.

Ms. Landry has reported that even though students returned Sunday from San Antonio they must be at school Monday on time.
