The victim told deputies that Walter Zachery attacked her with a knife while she was walking to her residence on Daisy Lane in Opelousas. The victim explained that Zachery stabbed her while she was attempting to fight him off. She was able to free herself from Zachery and she was able to make it back to her residence."
