One Suspect Identified in Bank Robbery

Lafayette, LA - Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department have identified one of the suspects in Tuesday's bank robbery. An arrest warrant for Simple Robbery has been issued for the arrest of 30 year old Harold James Carmouche Jr. of Lafayette.

Detectives are encouraging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carmouche or information on the robbery to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.

Lafayette, LA - On April 9, 2014, at approximately 10:15 am, Lafayette Police responded to the 2500 block of Moss Street regarding a bank robbery. Witnesses advised detectives that two black males with their faces covered entered the bank, ordering everyone to get down. The suspects then demanded money from the tellers.

The suspects were seen exiting the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and entered a small four door green old model vehicle. There were customers inside of the bank at the time of the robbery, but no reports of injuries.

Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the robbery to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
