Three men from Eunice were arrested Wednesday for wearing their pants below their waists.

Eunice Police received a complaint stating that three individuals were walking on Vine Street with their pants sagging.

Upon the officer's arrival, they detected the possible odor of marijuana and advised the men that he was going to search them. One of the suspects, 18-year-old Gujuan Freeman, fled the scene on foot. He was captured a short time later and booked in the Eunice City Jail.

Freeman was charged with resisting an officer and obstruction of public passage in addition to being charged with wearing pants below the waist in public.

Twenty-year-old Shaiheem Mitchell and 19-year-old Devacques Senegal were both also charged with wearing pants below their waist in public.

All three have since been released on bond.
