Police investigate armed robbery at Moss St. bank

The Lafayette Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the Chase Bank on the 2900 block of Moss Street in Lafayette Wednesday morning.

Lafayette Police Corporal Paul Mouton says that two masked black male suspects entered the building around 10:15 a.m. and forced the bank's employees and customers to the ground.

The suspects then approached a bank clerk and demanded cash before fleeing the scene in a small green 4 door vehicle.
