Bayou Vista man wanted for residential burglary

A Bayou Vista man is wanted in connection with a residential burglary that happened on March 28.

Authorities say 24-year-old Charles Berger broke through the window of a home on Delmar Avenue in Bayou Vista. Berger and Caleb Gros both entered the victim's home and then fled the residence when the homeowner returned. Approximately $150 in cash was missing from the residence following the incident.

17-year-old Gros was arrested Friday and charged with simple burglary and on a warrant for drug charges stemming from a previous narcotics investigation.

Berger is wanted on a warrant for simple burglary.
