According to State police, the gas well near Eunice has been capped. 

All displaced residents are being asked to meet at the Fire Department located at 600 Sittig Road at 2:30pm  From there, they will be taken back to their homes by representative of DEQ. 

DEQ will test the air quality inside each family's home just to ensure it is safe for them to return. 

The roadway should be reopened shortly after 2:30 pm.
