Hello Acadiana Roadshow

Updated:

Throughout the month of February, our TV10 crew hit the road to say "Hello Acadiana." We stopped in Lafayette, St. Landry, Iberia, and Acadia parishes.

Now that February has come to its conclusion, we want to thank you for making our roadshow tour a success. You showed us just how much you cared about our diverse culture, which makes us proud to be right here in Acadiana.

During this endeavor, we showed you the past, present, and future of Lafayette from its growing economy to its unique past, we showcased it all and topped it off with live music with Lafayette's own Connie G and JB Saxx.

There was the emergence of zydeco in St. Landry Parish and who better to represent that flavor than St. Landry's own Keith Frank.

You walked the shadows across the Teche and learned about the history of Iberia Parish. You learned about the growing economy and tasted both the salty and sweet side of New Iberia. Then cut a rug with Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Big Timers.

We wrapped up our tour with the world renowned flavors and sounds of Acadia Parish. They welcomed us with open arms with sounds at the hands of Crowley's own Wayne Toups and highlights all the best parts of the parish.

Here at KLFY News 10, we have been honored and inspired by the immense level of support you showed us through this endeavor. Stick around, we'll continue our exploration of Acadiana in May. So when you see us come to your town, don't hesitate to come out and say hello.
