Police searching for truck with stolen duck

Lafayette police are looking for the truck that appears to be carrying the 14 foot inflatable Boys & Girls Club duck that was stolen last week.

Police say the truck was traveling south on Johnston Street with the inflatable duck in the truck's bed.

The truck appears to be a dark colored Chevrolet 4-door Silverado.

If anyone can identify the owner of the vehicle or the suspects involved in the incident, they are encouraged to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.


The Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana is asking for the public's help in locating one of their giant inflatable ducks that was stolen early Thursday morning.

The 14 foot inflatable yellow duck was set up in front of a store in the 2700 block of Johnston Street.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects or the whereabouts of the duck is asked to call Lafayette police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
