NFL star discusses future of Upper Lafayette Parish


The future of Upper Lafayette parish has grabbed the attention of former NFL player Kevin Faulk.

The patriots running back turned Carencro High School teacher has joined other community leaders to form a Citizen's Advisory Council.  The council will discuss ideas, concerns and other issues affecting Upper Lafayette parish, which includes North Lafayette, Duson, Scott, Carencro and the unincorporated areas. 

Faulk says everyone can have a voice in how their city or town is developed, one way he chooses to oversee that is through this council.
