Lafayette talented program host arts festival

Updated:

The Lafayette Parish Talented Program is hosting its annual multidisciplinary arts festival downtown, this year based on the theme "SPACE."

Talented Program students of all ages will offer visual art exhibitions and live music and theatre performances at two locations during the festival, which runs from March 8 - 22.

The festival kicks off with an opening reception at Cité des Arts on Saturday, March 8, from 4:30 - 6 p.m. and continues through Art Walk that evening from 6 - 8 p.m.

The series of rotating exhibits will remain on display at both Cité des Arts and Cajun Spice Gallery throughout the festival, giving art lovers the chance to sample the talent and creativity of Acadiana's students throughout the week during regular business hours and scheduled evening performances.
