Arson cause of fire in Scott

On February 23 at 12:56 AM, Scott Fire Department responded to a reported residential fire located in the 600 block of Cocodril Road, in the Scott area.

Upon arrival, units observed a small fire on the exterior wall of the structure. The fire was quickly extinguished.

After an investigation, the fire was determined to be arson.

This fire is very serious in nature and had the potential to cause serious injury or loss of life to the family located in the home, and firefighters.

The Scott Fire Department is asking for your assistance with this investigation.
