Lafayette Police Release UCR Statistics

Lafayette, LA – Crime statistics for the year of 2013 have been released by the Lafayette Police Department.  There was a 9% increase in total reported crimes within the City of Lafayette.  Increases in 2013 included the crimes of Aggravated Rape, Robbery, Theft and Auto Theft.  Those crime categories that decreased were Homicides, Assaults and Burglaries.
