A Friday evening narcotics search warrant has one Crowley resident in jail and police searching for another.

The Crowley Police Department Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team executed a search warrant at the residence of 1218 Lurose Dr. "Our agents were able to secure a search warrant after an investigation led to the probable cause for the warrant" stated Chief KP Gibson.

During the search, agents recovered five quart size bags of marijuana with a weight of five ounces, a bottle of Codeine containing three ounces and $12,500 in currency. "All listed items were seized as evidence and Crowley Police will file for asset forfeiture for the currency" stated Chief Gibson.

Arrested was Demetra Etienne, 27 of Crowley. Etienne was charged with PWITD marijuana, PWITD codeine, monies derived from drug proceeds and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Etienne was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.

Crowley Police also have obtained arrest warrants for Brandal Moore, 29, of Crowley. Moore was not present at the time of the search warrant but was a subject of the investigation. Moore is facing charges on PWITD marijuana, PWITD codeine and monies derived from drug proceeds.

Any information on the whereabouts of Brandal Moore should be called into Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 789-TIPS (8477).
