Arson cause of fire on 610 Delord St. - KLFY News 10

Arson cause of fire on 610 Delord St.

Lafayette fire investigators determined that the fire originated on the exterior of the dwelling near the kitchen window. Evidence collected at the scene indicated that someone poured or splashed an accelerant on the exterior wall then set the fire. Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Arson Investigator assisted with an accelerant detection K9.

Additional information collected supports the possibility of the fire being set as retaliation. Officials continue to investigate to determine who may be responsible. If anyone has any information, please contact Crimestoppers at 232-TIPS or the Lafayette Fire Department, 291-8716.
