Police seek brazen Walmart theft suspects

On December 17, 2013, St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office began an investigation into a report of a theft that occurred at Walmart in Bayou Vista.

Detectives are now working to identity two suspects seen on video surveillance. The footage shows what appear to be a man and a woman approaching a cash register.

The man opens the register and takes a substantial amount of cash before the two suspects leave the store. Still photos of the two suspects are provided for the public's review.

The crime occurred yesterday evening, Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Walmart in Bayou Vista. St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division is seeking the identity of the suspects.
