Husband located and detained in search for missing wife

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz stated, "Arthur Tillett has been located in Omega, Georgia, and St. Landry Parish Detectives are en-route to the county jail where he is being held to question him regarding his wife's disappearance."

Guidroz said, "We are still seeking the public's assistance in locating missing person, Sandra Tillett.  Sandra was last seen near her residence of 499 Carrington Place, Opelousas, LA in July, 2013."

St. Landry authorities search for missing woman

 

 

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for missing person Sandra Tillett.

Sandra was last seen near her residence of 499 Carrington Place, Opelousas in July, 2013.

Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena said, "We received a call from Sandra Tillett's daughter who is currently living out of state. She stated that she had not spoken to her mother since June and she was requesting that we go to her residence to check on her. On December 14, deputies made contact with Arthur Tillett, Sandra's husband. Arthur Tillett was not truthful to the deputies about his wife's whereabouts."

"Arthur Tillett has not been seen or heard from since Sunday, December 15, 2013. As a result of our investigation, Arthur Tillett has been declared a 'person of interest' in this case. He is possibly driving a 1996 Honda Passport, white in color with one blue door, Texas license plate '1CDRM'," Vizena added.
