Crowley police urge caution with door to door solicitors

Updated:

Crowley police say they received several calls regarding door to door solicitors selling cleaning supplies.

Police say the persons doing the solicitation claim to be college students.

Authorities say a Crowley City Ordinance allows for door to door solicitation between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm or sunset.

"Crowley police have researched the company who the soliciting is being done for. Supreme Cleaning Supplies, Inc. is based out of Stone Mountain, Georgia. The Better Business Bureau has this company listed with an "F" rating. The comments made through the Better Business Bureau website claims issues with delivery and product issues" Stated Chief KP Gibson.

Police encourage your calls if the solicitor is working after the allotted time by ordinance or if they cause any type of problem. Call 783-1234.
