La Boucherie Merci held at Vermilionville

The705, along with the Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission, wrapped up the inaugural La Boucherie Merci at Vermilionville on Sunday.

A large crowd was on hand to learn the art of the traditional boucherie firsthand or through a quick snack.

The culinary team was made of major players from local eateries, including Jolie's Louisiana Bistro, Ruffino's on the River and Village Café.
