87 year old Warren Winn who suffers from dementia and went missing Tuesday has been found in Houston, Texas.
Investigators with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office were able to track Winn to a Grey Hound Bus Station in Lafayette where he boarded a bus to Houston. A lead was sent to the Houston Police Department who located Winn at a retirement home where Winn lived prior to being moved to Lafayette three months ago to live with his daughter.
Winn is in good health and has expressed that he wants to remain in Houston. Family members have been briefed.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office are on the look out for a missing elderly man.
Deputies say, Warren Winn was last seen around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon when he was getting into a cab from a home in the 300 block of Grossie Drive.
According to authorities, he was later dropped off by Chase Bank in downtown Lafayette.
The 87 year old suffers from dementia.
