An Iberia Parish man was arrested Friday, after committing armed robbery at a New Iberia Burger King.
It happened at the Burger King located on Center Street in New Iberia.
Shortly after midnight Thursday night, 36-year-old Eric Cummings pulled up to the restaurant drive-thru window in his white minivan to pay for his meal.
After he was informed that his credit card had declined, Cummings brandished a tire iron wrapped in a towel and began to rob the fast food franchise before he fled the scene.
Deputies later spotted Cummings's van outside of a residence on LaSalle Street and discovered him inside the home.
The 36-year-old was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
None of the Burger King employees were harmed during the incident.
