South Louisiana Community College is hosting a town hall meeting at its T.H. Harris campus in Opelousas on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The purpose is to discuss innovative ways the community college can partner with St. Landry Parish businesses and residents to meet the needs of the community.
"We want to meet with parish leaders and business partners to find ways to work together and make sure our graduates are filling workforce demands," said Willie Smith, SLCC's vice chancellor for Economic and Workforce Development.
SLCC Chancellor Dr. Natalie Harder will also give a campus update during the meeting.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. in the campus cafeteria.
