Festival International de Louisiane has announced Missy Paschke-Wood as its new executive director.
Paschke-Wood, a native Texan, begins her leadership role starting October 21.
Prior to joining Festival International she worked as the Marketing & Development Director at Yavapai Humane Society in Prescott, Arizona and Marketing Manager for Arizona Theatre Company in addition to consulting for many other non-profit organizations.
"My goal is to serve the festival by supporting our staff and board in every way that I can to make sure Festival International de Louisiane continues to be the premier Francophone festival in the United States if not the world." says Paschke-Wood.
"The Board of Directors looks forward to working with Missy. She is a seasoned professional who understands our organizational needs." says FIL Board President Craig Minnick. "We are confident that she will enhance the growth of Festival International and advance the festival into the next generation as the premier international music festival."
