Cajuns head to Bowling Green, for SBC Tilt

The Ragin Cajuns will put first place in the Sun Belt and a three-game win streak on the line when they travel to Bowling Green, Ky., to face WKU on Tuesday, Oct. 15 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. . . the game will be televised live on ESPN2 with Joe Davis and David Diaz-Infante providing the commentary. . . Louisiana enters the game with a 3-2 record and in first place in the Sun Belt with a 1-0 mark after toppling league newcomer Texas State, 48-24, on Oct. 5. . . Terrance Broadway threw for a season-high 335 yards and four touchdowns in the win to set the school record with six career 300-yard passing games. . . junior Jamal Robinson caught four passes for 114 yards and two TD's, ranking him eighth nationally with six touchdowns this season. . . the defense keyed the win, holding the Bobcats to 196 yards of total offense, the second-lowest total by a Cajuns opponent under Mark Hudspeth. . . included in that total was 76 yards passing by Texas State, the fewest since 2008. . . senior Justin Anderson led the defensive effort with nine tackles, giving him 51 stops in the first five games. . . WKU (4-2, 1-1) has not played since claiming a 31-10 win at ULM on Thursday (Oct. 3). . . Louisiana is 4-2 against WKU, including a 1-1 record in games played in Bowling Green.
