Burglary suspect flees police at 100 MPH

A Hub City man is proof positive you can't outrun a radio or a BOLO either, for that matter.

Thirty eight year old Damon Henderson was taken into custody in baton Rouge Tuesday afternoon after he was involved in an auto accident here in Acadiana.

On Monday sheriffs deputies in Lafayette say they tried to catch Henderson, after he allegedly broke into a house in Judice and then sped off. But when the pursuit reached speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour deputies called off the chase and called in a description of Henderson and his car.

Henderson will now be brought back to Lafayette to face the burglary charges.
