On this segment of Brewing Issues, KLFY's Gary Arnold spoke with Kaplan Mayor Kirk Champagne.

This Saturday the Kaplan Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the "Boogie On The Boulevard" 5K and 1 mile Fun Run family event in downtown Kaplan.

The 1 mile event will begin at 7:30 a.m and the 5K event will begin at 8 a.m. Both events will begin and end in Turnley Park.

There will also be food, drinks and live music from William Seaux & Driving Dixie and Louisiana Fiya.
