J.W. Faulk teacher placed on leave following investigation

Posted: Updated:

A teacher at J.W. Faulk has been put on administrative leave after allegations that students were glued to their chairs.

A tip came into TIP10@klfy.com that a teacher glued students to their chairs at the school. We investigated the allegations.

Angella Morrison with the Lafayette Parish School System tells us that the teacher told the students if they did not stay seated, she would glue them to their seats. Morrison told KLFY the teacher then said it was the kids that put glue in their own chairs and sat in it.

The teacher was then put on leave. The incident is still being investigated.
