    Festival Acadiens Volunteers Needed

    This is the 40th year Le Festivals Acadiens et Creoles will grace Girard Park in Lafayette and volunteer coordinators say the decline in community support is alarming.More >>

Next weekend Festivals Acadiens et Créoles is set to take place in Girard Park and volunteers are still needed to ensure a successful event.

The festival will take place Oct. 11 - 13 and will feature music, dancing, crafts, demonstrations, cultural presentations, kids activities and more.

There will be music from Balfa Toujours, Lost Bayou Ramblers, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, Nathan Williams and the Zydeco Cha Chas, Wayne Toups & ZydeCajun and much more.
