Hunters for the Hungry food drive set for Sunday

The Opelousas Lighthouse Mission will hold their Hunters for the Hungry food drive this Sunday.

The food drive is held annually and local sportsmen and their families are invited to "clean out their freezers" to donate more than 8,000 pounds of frozen processed game and fish to help provide more that 20,000 meals to the impoverished in these communities.

Collection sites are listed below

Lafayette - UL Cajun Field (Main drop off location)

Carencro - Carencro Fire Station

Broussard-Chops Specialty Meats

Eunice - Sirius Technologies/Sirius Computer Services

Youngsville - First Assembly of God Church on Verot School Rd.

Opelousas - Nissan of Opelousas
