Lafayette police arrested two Lafayette men who robbed a convenience store on Monday in the 2300 block of Ambassador Caffery Parkway.

30-year-old Jamar Sellers was arrested overnight by police and 21-year-old Aldon Bob Jr. was arrested Wednesday by Opelousas police.

According to the clerk at the store, one of the suspects remained at the entrance while the second suspect grabbed the employee from the rear of the store and forced her to open the register.

The suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and the two suspects fled the area in a small white 4-door vehicle.
