Lafayette's 6th annual Boudin Cook-Off will take place on October 19th in downtown Lafayette.

Crowds can enjoy samples from boudin teams who travel from all over the Acadiana area to tempt palates with their traditional recipes and try out new creations at the event. "

The free cook-off is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in downtown Lafayette, at Parc Sans Souci. Festivities include music by The Specklers, Sons of Voodoo, and the Babineaux Sisters. Attendees will enjoy free ice cream sandwiches from Blue Bell Creamery. Proceeds benefit the Historic Preservation Alliance of Lafayette.
