Vermilion Parish undercover drug busts

According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon, Chief Tony Hardy and Chief Boyd Adams, the Vermilion / Municipal task force recently made following arrests for drug related offenses due to undercover operations conducted within the parish.

Kodd Huntely (dob 9/27/82) of Abbeville was arrested while agents were working street sales disruption and active narcotics warrants. Upon recognizing Huntley on the streets, agents advised him that he was under arrest. Huntley began to flee on foot from officers. After a chase, agents were able to subdue Huntley by taser. Huntley was placed under arrest, and medical attention was immediately sought. After Huntley was checked out, he was booked into the VPCC for distribution of crack cocaine, and resisting an officer.

Malcolm Ardoin (dob 01/18/95) of Abbeville, arrested for distribution of crack cocaine, after selling the illegal drug to an undercover agent.

Agents with the task force were actively searching for Prince Davis (dob 8/30/87) of Abbeville, for outstanding warrants for distribution of crack cocaine. The Abbeville Police department patrol division located Davis, and were able to execute the warrants without incident.

Kevin Gilliam (dob 7/14/80) of Kaplan, was booked  on outstanding warrants for Distribution of MDMA (Ecstasy),  possession of marijuana, and soliciting a minor to distribute narcotics. Agents advise that Gilliam had a juvenile deliver the illicit drug to the undercover agent in this case. Gilliam was also charged with six counts of failure to appear for court.

Dwayne Loignon (dob 7/20/64) of Abbeville was arrested after agents working narcotics criminal patrol, mad a traffic stop and  located marijuana separated and packaged for street sales. Loignon was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
