United Way of Acadiana and UL Lafayette are hosting an event aimed at giving back to the community. It's called The Big Event. It will be held Saturday Oct. 19

Student volunteers will have the opportunity to complete hands-on projects, which may include beautification and landscaping activities, painting, cleaning, building projects and other activities that support and improve our community.
