St. Landry Parish suspect confesses to child molestation

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz stated, "Jules Gaspard of Jeanerette was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail facing 2 counts of molestation of a juvenile."

Sheriff Guidroz said, "On August 12, our office received a complaint from the young victims mother stating that her child alerted her that he had been touched inappropriately by Jules Gaspard. Our investigators questioned Gaspard and he did confess to inappropriate touching."

Gaspard is currently being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail with no bond.
